We had a client who’s been living in Toronto for years. They already had an Air Conditioner unit installed in the house.
They noticed that the ground floor was semi-cool. The basement was cooler than the ground floor but the first floor was totally humid.
We wanted to know more about the structure and what could be causing the humidity in the first floor. After investigation, we concluded the possibility that the Air Conditioner isn’t capable of cooling the first floor. It was inefficient. Many of their bed rooms were located in the first floor area.
The Canadian weather department has reported a relevant increase in the temperature this summer season.
We tried to find something that would give maximum comfort for the client. We wanted to include them in our talk and we wanted to put their preferences first as well as their opinions prioritized. The crew came up with a simple and money-saving initiative. We pitched in the idea of letting the existing AC cool only the basement and ground floor. This way, it won’t get too worked up.
We concluded that installing a ductless Air Conditioner for the first floor should do the trick. We investigated the place and found that this could solve the problem. We explained to them that in this process, air is concentrated to the first floor area, therefore cooling the spot entirely.
After a week, they called us up and told us that they noticed a significant change in the atmosphere of the first floor area of the house. The entire family now enjoys a cooler environment.
